Drop 3

Think about it: Mayawati agrees to a Manmohan Singh (or a Rahul Gandhi, or an Advani) becoming PM for two-and-a-half years only if she is given the first shot at the balance period.

No, not my own musing, this is from Rajdeep Sardesai's article in Hindustan Times. But won't it be amusing to watch it, especially the way events unfolded in Karnataka.

Cricket and everything Indian do have similarities. Well with the captain hailing from Ranchi, may be our PM can be from some part of rural UP, Bihar, who knows. And may be just like 5 day test matches made way for ODI which in turn will give in to 20-20 cricket, instead of a 5 year term we can see 20 months stints for PM.
Or having a separate captain for ODI and other for Test match, but then we already have that isn't it: Sonia Gandhi and Man Mohan Singh :-)

A sign of times to come?

The very day when India won the inaugral T20 match with a young team and a young captain at helm, Congress declared Rahul Gandhi as the General Secretary. Will the Indian political establishment follow BCCI and put its trust in youth?

Drop 0

Some one said : Expectations Kill, both what the world has from you and what you have from yourself. No clue about what I am going to blog about, may be a book review, may be a movie review and a moment of occasional brilliance about some current topic (that may be once in a Blue Moon). Thinking about what is the origin of the term Once in a Blue Moon and is there such a thing as a Blue Moon, means does the light refract at the angle to give you a Blue Moon? See this explains what the blog will be about Mindless Musings which will be Mostly Useless :-)
